Sneakpeak: Ramdan + Aida

SOOC pictures, or in other words those pictures came out straight out of camera without editing except for the framing and boarder. :D

Ramdan and Aida are the first couple I photographed this year and their love story is soooo cute! They don’t really have a lovey dovey ‘love story’ tho but it is more to you know…, the love arrived when it’s ready with no expectation at all yet it feels incredibly right to just go on to the next level – getting married.

“Saya pun masih dalam proses mengenal dia akak...” – Aida.

Truth is they’ve been married for 1 month ++, and their solemnization was done in Russian! Super cool right? Oh I forgot to tell you, they both are still studying by the way. Both are doing Medicine. Again, super duper cool! :D

I am trying my best to at least hand in their digital copies before they go back to Moscow on the 14th. Kak Nono will try OK! Insha Allah.

It’s true that when it comes to love you gotta let it happen instead of making it happen, because when it is ready to come it definitely will work itself out.

It’s sweet.

Normally it takes me about 7 to 14 days (from the shooting day) to finish all the post processing. And I will deliver the DVD (which consists of the original and edited digital images) straight away to my client when I am done. My editing isnt that extreme tho... Because I dont do extreme editing. It isnt my expertise and it isnt my cup of tea either. I am sorry. Most of the time I'll just buat a minor touch up to the pictures such as conversion of tone and bnw, adjusting color and saturation curve and also adding some blur effect to the pictures. I am sure you noticed it in most of my pictures, right? ;)

While delivery for photobooks and albums would depend on the number of pictures that I need to go through, sort and arrange. Super susah ok! But I think buat photobook lebih senang than buat sticky album. Hmm. I am serious.

I was about to give up last nite cus I need to sort 240 pics and tampal gambar masuk album for P&M. For Indian wedding, I need to be extra particular with what pictures I should feature in their album since I dont really familiar with their culture and I dont know which ritual or part in the wedding yang paling penting. That's why it takes me quite some times untuk buat the album sbb I need to wait for their respond on what kind of pictures they want me to feature, and I need to go through almost 1+++ of their pics for both thali ceremony and also their reception banyak-banyak kali sbb kena pilih 100 pics from thali ceremony and 100 from their reception. Lagi 40 pics I give it foc sbb nak penuhkan albums. Just imagine how hard it is, gambar super banyak but kena pilih 100 from each event. :(

Lagi satu, dah print kena sort.. Ah. Super tensi OK!

As I told you, I was about to give up. Jam dah almost 2am so I tweeted, mengadu sbb menganduk dah... :P And Puteri replied me with this:

Aww. Super sweet.

So I continued menampal and then hit my bed at 4am. And this morning I bought myself a new shawl. It's best to reward yourself selepas bekerja keras. Hehe...
